Okay here is is, if you were to ask us what we are I'm not sure any one of us could give you an explanation without a huge list of genre's. The two recordings, 'thats what she said' and 'pvp no nk noob', are basically some generic stuff we came up with after about 1 month of being a band. Not bad huh? Lately we've been working on separating ourselves from the generic metal-core scene while still holding true to our influences. Don't get me wrong, of course we're still metal-core, but we like to mess around with other genres. Post hardcore, hardcore and southern rock seem to be a few of our favorites when trying to add some flare to Metal-core. Every member of our band excels at a different genre of music but we all seem to click really well when writing. We cover it all from chuggy/dissonant riffs to brutal breakdowns. Honestly i don't think A Cadence for Heresy will ever have a set genre. unlike the majority of the bands that produce an average of 10 songs, get bored and split up, we're all accepting and supportive of what every other member wants to play. I think we're all pretty new to this and given the amount of time we've had to play together we're making really good progress. A Cadence for Heresy is off to a great start and will certainly be around long after all of the cookie cutter hardcore bands have moved on to the next big trend.
