Singer/Songwriter Chelsea Crites was recently crowned as 2011 Niagara's Idol with her prominent country style and astounding vocal presence. This local award-winning artist is not only talented but versatile and adaptable, making her a great candidate for future stardom. singing country music since she was 7 years old , but had always wanted to be a singer since she could talk , impressing many judges and audience members at several local competitions , Chelsea Crites has already made a name for herself in Southern Ontario and surrounding communities . Many say Crites has a way with the crowd " It's hard not to pay attention when she gets up to perform there's such a natural feel to her voice that you can't help but to embrace her music " Chelsea worked hard to make herself known around her community and the Niagara area.
