X-Engine-X

X-Engine-X is a guitar-driven hard rock band when stripped down to nothing goes for the Jugular and delivers. <br> One listen and you will recognize the influences bands like Alice in Chains, C.O.C., Godsmack, Hell Yeah, Down, Pantera, have had on X-ENGINE-X. <br> <br> <br> Since the Later 90's ,X-ENGINE-X has completed several Mid Western tours of Canada and shared the stage with the likes of NICKLEBACK, NOISE THERAPY, FILTER, EDWIN, JARR/FLYBANGER and THE HEADSTONES among others becoming one of the hottest and well-respected bands in the hard-rock scene in Winnipeg, and always a dependable source of Chugging riffs and Brutal beats. <br> <br> "A head banger’s ball, striking the perfect balance between heavy and catchy" - Jared Story, Uptown <br> <br> In the summer of 2000, X-ENGINE-X headlined the 2nd stage at SHAKIN THE LAKE (an outdoor festival with over 10,000 screaming metal heads in attendance.) <br> <br> In May of 2001, the band recorded DISTORTIA. (Their 2nd release) Having two singles "COMMON SENSE" and "CREEPER" put into rotation on POWER 97fm in Winnipeg. <br> <br> Come 2003, X-ENGINE-X released "INNER DEMONS" (Their 3rd release) with "BLACK RIVER" as the first single. With the Release of "Inner Demons" in tow, X-ENGINE-X were chosen out of 200 other bands as one of the featured artists on POWER 97's class of 2003 compilation CD. <br> <br> X-Engine-X won the opportunity to open for Godsmack in summer of 2006 during their stop in Winnipeg. Again showing that no matter the size of the venue, X-E-X will corrupt the world one song at a time! <br> <br> Feb. 2008 X-ENGINE-X released “...After the End” It was an exciting time for the band giving the opportunity to work with Duane Baron (Ozzy, W.A.S.P. Motley Crue) <br> <br> The songs “Man on Fire” and Coming Down” both received airtime on Freq. 107 and The Rooster Rocks stations. <br> <br> "These songs hit you like a wall of steel and keep chugging right on through, keep an eye on this stellar band..." - Douglas Adams, Shadow Time Inc. <br> <br> X-ENGINE-X continues to write and record.
