Biography

There is no band quite like Bitter Candi. Their "something for everyone" approach has gained the band much fanfare since the band came together in 2004. "We've got it all" says front man Jay Phillips. "If you want guitar solos, we've got 'em. If you want groove, we've got some groove for ya, and if you just want to rock out to good songs... well, we're the band for you." Bitter Candi's songs range from hard hitting in your face rockers, to Bon-Joviesque ballads. Every song is crafted to hook the listener, and everyone has a different favorite song, attesting to the versatility of the band. The band has just released their first EP "Suckerpunch" featuring fan favorite songs "Kick Back" and "Crashing Down" and are now playing shows in support of it.

We will, just not this time around. Probably near the end of june we'll hit up another show in Barrie. For the time being we shall focus on setting up our new drummer and getting a few new songs in our set list. Sorry if Cimmarian disappoints you I give you my sincere apologetic feelings. In the future I'll be more then glad to share a stage with talented performers like yourselves. I can't wait to have stage presence like you.
