Three Pennies Band formed in 2009. Starting out as a guitar and drums duo consisting of two brothers, Matt and Brody. They decided after a while to become a trio. Deciding against the conventional guitar, bass and drums combination, they began looking for a second guitar player to add a unique sound to their music. Having gone through a few guitar players, they finally asked their friend Brett to join in 2011.
