Niagara-based metal band Calling All Gods was formed in May 2007 by bassist
Shawn Ravenda and vocalist Mike Tedesco. Through their venture, many
band members have come and gone. Each bringing a distinct band closer to
being created. The band is now formed with a solid list of members all
thriving to become better and Challenging their musical boarders.
Including Derek Nelson on lead guitar, P.J Steele on rhythm guitar and
Vlad Prokhorov on drums.
Their influences are diverse, drawing on everyday experiences for
inspiration and creativity.
The fans of Calling All God's are always kept on their toes, live shows
include crushing riffs with blends of progressive rock, groove and vocals
that will break your heart and smash your face in at the same time.
It is simply not about falling into a category of music, but embracing genres
that suite their moods at the time of writing.
Calling All Gods continues to record, and tour across Canada. They have
been interviewed and featured on ‘BEST OF 2009’ on Toronto's Edge 102.1,
featured in issues of Alternative Press Magazine, reviewed in Eye
Weekly, Exclaim!, Punknews.org and noted by Alan Cross as “100% a band
to watch in 2009.” 2010 brought Calling All Gods to the west coast, this tour included open air festivals and venue gigs.
2012 brings much excitement to the band, Calling All Gods
being chosen as Niagara's hottest metal band from Roadrunner Records.
